AgCommand® Activation

Introduction

The following information is a quick reference that explains:

  1. How to use the AgCommand website to set up equipment with an AgCommand Telemetry module installed.
  2. How to commission the telemetry hardware so it is connected and configured correctly.
  3. How customers can set up their AgCommand account after a new machine has been delivered, or when an AgCommand module has been installed on an existing piece of equipment.

Keep in mind that these instructions are intended as quick setup instructions. If you need more detailed information, please reference the latest released version of the AgCommand Operator’s Manual or contact the Fuse Contact Center at FuseSupport@agcocorp.com.

 

Dealer AgCommand Telemetry Setup

  1. Go to the AgCommand website:  http://www.myagcommand.com
  • Enter Dealer username and password.
  • Click on Sign In.

  1. Select Administration, then Fleet Owner.

  1. Select Add.

  1. Enter the customer information and select Save.
  • You must complete all fields marked with an asterisk (*).  All other fields are optional.
  • The Company name field is used for assigning telemetry devices to customers.
  • The Email address you enter will be used to send the initial username/password to the customer.

  1. Select Administration, then Device to set up the telemetry device web presence.

  1. Select Add.

  1. Enter the device information and select Save.
  • You must complete all fields marked with an asterisk (*).  All other fields are optional.
  • You’ll be asked to enter the Device Serial Number twice.

Note: If you receive the message that a device is “not found,” email the Fuse Contact Center for assistance.

  • Verify Standard Plus or Advanced for the selected subscription level.
  • If you don’t see the Customer’s company name in the drop-down list, create a new customer.

Commissioning the Telemetry Hardware

These steps activate the initial telemetry connection and configuration download.

  1. Power the machine and ensure the telemetry unit’s Green LED is ON.
  1. Move the machine to an open area with a clear view of the sky and known good cellular coverage.

Note: AM50 telemetry units support only 2G, GSM cellular networks (AM53 telemetry units support 2G and 3G, GSM and CDMA cellular networks). Some regions and cell providers are transitioning away from 2G support. Therefore, do not rely on a cell phone status as an indication that sufficient 2G cell coverage for the AM50 is present. Instead, use local cell provider coverage maps to determine if your location will support the initial telemetry connection. If in question, use the Electronic Diagnostic Tool (EDT) for confirmation.

  1. Select At A Glance on the AgCommand website and watch for the new unit to appear on the map.

  1. Allow a minimum of 1 hour for the device to connect, download, install the configuration file (actual time depends on the cell network transfer speed), and register its location on the map. The Green LED will be flashing to indicate downloading.

Important: DO NOT power cycle the machine/device until the device registers on the map.

  1. If the machine does not appear after a reasonable amount of time, check:
  • Brand, Model, and Type are set correctly on the device administration page.
  • Antenna functions and cable connection.
  • Device LED is showing correct status.
  • Harness connections.
  • Status by connecting to the EDT and troubleshooting for possible issues.

 

Preparing Customers to Set Up Their AgCommand Web Account

  1. Provide the customer with initial website training and Customer Setup Instructions (below).
  1. Have a follow up discussion with the customer 48 to 72 hours after delivery to ensure the system is working correctly and the customer understands the operation of the website.

 

Customer Setup Instructions

  1. After your Dealer registers the AgCommand module, you will receive an email like the following with your first-time login credentials.

  1. Go to the AgCommand website:  http://www.myagcommand.com
  • Enter your username.  At first log in, this is your email address.
  • Enter your password.  At first log in, this is the password set up by your Dealer.
  • Click on Sign In.

If you need help using the AgCommand website, take one of the following actions:

  1. Use the Dynamic Help link at the upper right on the AgCommand website. The help content will match the window or function tab you are currently viewing.

  1. Contact your Authorized Dealer.
  2. Email the Fuse Contact Center using the contact information provided under the Help link on the AgCommand website. Most native languages are supported without a translation service.
