AGCO’s Advanced Technology Solutions group has developed this industry-leading range of software, designed to ease the farm office workload, manage costs, budgets and records – all at the touch of a button.

The basic GTA100 Communicator package is provided as standard on every AGCO brand tractor ordered with a GTA Console. As there are four individual packages in the Suite, users can upgrade over a period of time – depending on the level of sophistication required – right up to the advanced GTA400 Precision Farming level.

GTA100 Communicator allows data to be collected from a machine in the field, and ‘communicates’ it to the farm’s PC for viewing. A simple software upgrade introduces the capabilities of GTA200 Record Keeping, which can be used to plan tasks and process the data recorded to produce reports. Users can then keep track of all activities to ensure the business is operating efficiently.

GTA300 Mapping performs all the functions of the first two GTA packages, but steps up to introduce GPS-generated positional information and the ability to create maps.

Once the value of GTA300 Mapping has been fully appreciated, users will almost certainly want to upgrade to GTA400 Precision Farming, an advanced package that allows information such as soil sample results and management zones to be imported for interpretation. Accurate input application maps can then be generated, helping to optimise yields and reduce costs.

Aimed principally at professional agronomists, GTA500 SGIS Agronomy provides further refinements to enable variable rate treatment plans to be produced and transferred back to the farmer’s PC and then to the application machines.
