GTA200 Record Keeping

Better Planning, More Control
With all the capabilities of the GTA100 Communicator package, GTA200 Record Keeping takes the technology a step further, allowing users to create reports on fleet management, equipment and inputs usage, the profitability of individual fields and other specific areas of the business. It also helps to provide greater control of costs and generates management information to guide decision-making.
Key features of GTA200 Record Keeping
- Task Planning
Assign a working group of resources to field tasks - Reports Menu
An extensive menu of Equipment & Field specific reports - New Invoicing Facility
Create invoices quickly and easily, based on task data
Task Planning
This function allows the user to assign a working group of machines, operators and products, producing multiple task plans at the same time. Selecting between planned and completed tasks allows tasks from machines not equipped with Console I or Console II to be included manually.
Once the fields to be worked have been selected, the Farming window appears, so that a task name, crop and year can be entered, along with an operation type, completing the creation of the task.Summaries of a particular task – including details of costs and notes on prevailing weather and field conditions – can be printed out by simply selecting the print button in the Task Manager window.
Equipment Reports
Up to 11 different equipment and field reports can be created using this highly versatile function, all displaying clearly structured information that can be used to provide traceability data and allow operational efficiency to be analysed and managed.
Machines can be ranked according to productivity and up-time, while operators can be evaluated by efficiency. Fields, too, can be managed more effectively, with machine and other costs simply allocated to specific fields.
Today’s farming requires tight control over key areas of operation and a clear picture of the business as a whole. GTA200 Record Keeping helps to achieve both. Just look at the list of reports it can create:-
Equipment Reports
- Fleet Management
Hours left to service, machine running parameters, etc - Usage Report (Averages)
Average details for each task, including fuel cost, area per hour and total cost per area - Usage Report (Task Details)
Machine use by individual tasks - Usage Report (Totals)
Total values for a selected machine, with total value breakdown per task
Field Reports
- Supply Report
Detailed summaries of the use of any product - Equipment Usage Report
Summaries of equipment for each task within a field - Field Enterprise
Statement showing labour cost, equipment and supplies for the production of a particular crop - Fertiliser Report
Ability to select a particular formulation, creating a usage report and recording usage of individual elements within the compound - Planning Summary by Crop
List of direct inputs – such as fuel, nutrients and chemicals – required for the production of a crop - Planning Summary (Total)
List all inputs required for a group of planned tasks - Chemical Report
Detailed list of chemicals used by a field enterprise, crop or supply
Invoicing Information
A recent addition to the range of functions included in GTA200 Record Keeping (also GTA300 and GTA400) is an invoicing facility capable of generating invoices quickly and easily from the completed tasks saved in the software.
Key aspects of this useful and time-saving feature include:-
- New clients can be added at the click of a button. Once a new client has been created, farms can be assigned to the client and fields to each of the farms.
- The Invoicing Tab provides a list of all invoices generated, displaying customer name, invoice number, a description, date and total amount. Buttons enable print and delete, together with viewing of properties from the selected invoice.
- From the Properties screen of an invoice, the user can select a client, enter a description, change the invoice number or date, aswell as adding comments and a footnote. Description, quantity, units and rate can all be easily adjusted. Total and grand total are calculated automatically, including any tax requirements.
- When creating an invoice from a completed task, inputs such as machines, people or seed are set up with an invoice rate that automatically populates in the invoice.
